Family Matters

OVERVIEW

David Schoenberger, owner of the start-up Better Indeed LLC, was seeking manufacturing services for his new board game, Family Matters. To test the market potential for his new game, David wanted to produce a small quantity initially, and was attracted by the competitive pricing and large manufacturing facilities at 360° Manufacturing Services. He also appreciated marketing his item as "Made in the USA". David was new to the manufacturing process and was looking for guidance on how he could improve his profits and speed to market. Family Matters consists of a rigid set-up box, a quad-folded game board, 180 4-color playing cards with aqueous coating, a plastic molded car, colored plastic pegs, and an instruction booklet.


STRATEGY

360° Manufacturing Services worked with David to maximize profits by suggesting game parts made from their large depth of standard materials. RESULT

The Family Matters game is getting a lot of buzz and great reviews online. It’s one of Parenting Magazine’s Toys of the Year for 2009, and has won 5 other awards since its release. 360° maximized the design with great execution, according to David. "It’s a beautiful, high-quality product."
